Break a bad habit

Mission Statement!

(I will add a blog "hello!" introductory post later, but here's some blog content to begin with!)

Ms. Yau and I came up with a draft of our Science Department mission statement yesterday! I'm excited to finally know what our long-term goals are, and how we want our students to look like after our class!

Science Mission of the
YES West Marvels

We scientists of YES Prep West exist to foster excitement about science and the wonders it unfolds, to instill an investigative spirit by asking questions of the world around us, and to encourage the incorporation of the Scientific Method into our everyday life to answer those questions.
